U.D.O. Begin Recording New Album

U.D.O., the German band led by former ACCEPT frontman Udo Dirkschneider, have commenced the recording sessions for their new album, tentatively due in October 2005. According to a posting at the group's official web site, Udo has begun laying down the first vocal tracks. A world tour in support of the album will kick off in February 2006. In the meantime, the group will play several festivals next year, including the Vega-Rock event in Granada, Spain on February 25, 2005.
